Specialized Job Analysis

Our Job Analysis service provides a description of the essential functions of a job and the physical demands required to perform the essential functions associated with that job.   ReEmployAbility Rehabilitation Counselors work closely with employers to provide onsite analysis of physical demands associated with specific jobs and tasks.  The analysis may include a visit to the employer to determine the essential functions of a job, define each physical task, and identify the physical demands of each individual task.  

When indicated, a Video Job Analysis will be used to visually engage the medical providers and enable them to make clearer informed decisions regarding the return to work process. Videos are always pared with a Job Analysis to outline the physical demands depicted in the video.

A job analysis is an important tool when physician participation is necessary to substantiate the appropriateness of the job to the medical restrictions.  It provides objective information on all jobs to match the employees abilities with job demands.  Our Certified Rehabilitation Professionals will use the Job Analysis to guide the medical providers in a direction of return to work and provide documentation to make an objective return to work decision.
