ReEmployAbility has been awarded a 2018 Top Workplaces honor by The Tampa Bay Times. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by research partner Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey measures several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, and connection.
“Top Workplaces is more than just recognition,” said Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. “Our research shows organizations that earn the award attract better talent, experience lower turnover, and are better equipped to deliver bottom-line results. Their leaders prioritize and carefully craft a healthy workplace culture that supports employee engagement.”
Since ReEmployAbility opened its doors in 2003 with a staff of just four, it has always been important to CEO and Co-Founder Debra Livingston that employees feel valued and treated as part of a team. For some companies who have experienced the tremendous growth in staff over the years that ReEmployAbility has, keeping that “we are a team” mentality could prove to be challenging. However, Livingston and the ReEmployAbility leadership team remain dedicated to keeping that culture of inclusion and empowerment intact, no matter how large the company may grow.
“Employee satisfaction is an essential element to any successful business,” Livingston said. “Knowing that our employees are happy and feel good about coming to work and enjoy what they do, exudes in every task they complete and every interaction they have.”
ReEmployAbility is the largest national provider of specialty early return-to-work services and transitional employment programs. The company is known for excellent customer service throughout the workers’ compensation industry. Livingston attributes this reputation to the happiness of the employees.
“It starts from the ground up. The first customers we serve are our employees. Then it is easy after that. If they feel good, that joy will shine through to all of our clients,” Livingston added.
