Come See What’s New with ReEmployAbility at the WCI Conference August 11 – 14, 2019

Posted: 2019-07-29

ReEmployAbility, Inc., will be exhibiting at the 74th Annual Workers' Compensation Educational Conference August 11-14 held at the Orlando World Center Marriott.

The 74th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference and the 31st Annual Safety and Health Conference brings together workers’ compensation professionals from across the country. This national conference has evolved into a gathering of all stakeholders, regardless of jurisdiction or state, to study and be educated on issues of common concern – issues that have no geographical boundaries. The conference is attended by approximately 7,000 workers’ compensation professionals from across the United States.

Conference participants are invited to visit ReEmployAbility at booth #407 to learn more about ReEmployAbility and how it helps injured workers through its Transition2Work® program. In addition, the company’s booth will host a caricature artist from Cartoon You Caricatures who will sketch live digital drawings of visitors. The caricaturist will quickly complete each drawing in the style of this year’s “coast to coast” theme and provide a full color print to the subject. Visitors can also register for an opportunity to win AirPods.

In addition to exhibiting at the conference, ReEmployAbility is also pleased to announce that CEO Debra Livingston will be joining two panels on Return-to-Work and Employee Advocacy.

The first panel will be "Return to Work Reimagined," Monday, August 12 from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Livingston will join panelists from Gallagher Bassett and Coca Cola. The panel will address issues that impact an early return-to-work including: the individual’s perception of their injury, poor communication between the individual and employer, lack of a RTW plan and family issues which promote a stay-at-home lifestyle.

The second panel will be "Advocacy and the Injured Worker Experience," Tuesday, August 13 from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. Livingston will join panelists from Sedgwick, Starbucks Coffee Company, Hertz, and Chick-fil-A. The panel will discuss the early adoption of advocacy programs, what prompted the initial change in philosophy, strategies deployed early on and suggestions for employee engagement that others can adopt and modify.

ReEmployAbility is also proud to announce it’s second year of sponsoring the Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation leadership breakout. This year’s topic will be “Rise & Resilience.” During the keynote, attendees will hear from Jeannette Walls, #1 New York Times best-selling author of The Glass Castle.
