Be Available & Know The Signs

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we would like to help bring attention to this issue, that affects one in four women nationally and one in three women globally.  At ReEmployAbility we are donating a percent of every referral processed in the month of October to The Spring of Tampa Bay, a domestic violence shelter and nonprofit that provides services to those in need.  Over the next 4 weeks, ReAudio will feature aspects of this issue and how places like The Spring become a refuge for survivors and empower those affected by Domestic Violence to find a way out.  If you or someone you know is in need of help, please Google your state name and the words “Domestic Violence Coalition” for resources similar to The Spring near you.  Local to the Tampa Bay area, visit https://thespring.org/ or you can call their 24 hour crisis line at 813-247-7233.
