ReEmployAbility will host “It’s 90% of What You Do,” a virtual webinar, September 23rd, 2020 at 3:30 p.m. EST with Olympic Gold Medalist Lanny Bassham.
Bassham is the CEO and Founder of Mental Management Systems, an international consulting company, and is the author of With Winning in Mind, Freedom Flight, and Parenting Champions.
In 1972, at the Munich Germany Olympic Games, Bassham failed in his attempt to win the Gold Medal in International Rifle Shooting. He had a mental failure resulting in his taking the Silver instead. Frustrated, Lanny wanted to take a course in controlling the mind under pressure.
After looking for such a seminar and not finding satisfaction, Bassham began to interview Olympic Gold Medalists to discover what they were doing differently to win. What he discovered was remarkable. Bassham created a system of mental control he called Mental Management®.
Within the next six years, Bassham dominated his sport, winning 22 world individual and team titles, setting four world records, and winning the coveted Olympic Gold Medal in Montreal in 1976.
For the past four decades, Bassham has taught Mental Management® to the elite of the sport and business communities. His clients include the PGA and PGA tour players, Miss America finalists, Miss USA winners, World and Olympic champions, Fortune 500 companies, The FBI, The United States Secret Service, The US Navy SEALS, The United States Army, and Marine Corps Marksmanship Units, The US Marshals Service, and Olympic teams of USA, Great Britain, Canada, India, Japan, Republic of China, Korea and Australia.
Join Bassham and the ReEmployAbility team for a discussion on how mental preparation is key to performance under pressure, especially as many of us find ourselves in challenging situations while managing during the pandemic.
