The annual RIMS Conference & Exhibition is quickly approaching and the ReEmployAbility team is ready to take on the City of Brotherly Love by storm.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the conference, each year thousands of risk professionals – including executives with risk management interests, brokers, insurers, and service providers – attend the event seeking professional development and networking opportunities.

This year’s conference theme is “Revolution,” and ReEmployAbility founders Debra Livingston and Frances Ford said that there is no better way to describe the essence of what the RIMS Conference is all about.

“You would think that in an industry that dates back as far as this one does, there would be little room for growth and development,” Debra said. “However, each year, the RIMS exhibitor hall proves to be the epicenter of revolutionary ideas and innovation for the industry.”

Frances agreed and added that during the four day event, the exhibit hall is the ideal place for attendees to enjoy the educational agenda, the exchange of new ideas, and the discovery of new products and services.

“Most of those in attendance understand the value of the hall,” Frances said. “The exhibit hall allows attendees the opportunity to conceptualize how new services could be deployed in their own organization. Risk Managers attending often have key objectives to focus on, and the exhibit hall is the hub of all that’s available to help employers find solutions to meet their most challenging concerns.”

Making a Revolutionary Impact

We here at ReEmployAbility are no strangers to revolutionary ideas. For over the past 13 years, we have created innovative solutions for the workers’ compensation industry that has helped make us the nation’s largest provider of early return-to-work services and transitional employment programs. Our Transition2Work program provides simple, fast, safe return to work solutions to help control the rising costs of workers’ compensation while positively influencing the lives of the program participants.

Something visitors to the exhibitor hall definitely will not want to miss is the Thought Leader Theater, which offers attendees other opportunities to learn through interactive discussions on a variety of industry topics. The educational agenda focuses on expanding the audience’s awareness of new concepts and innovative loss containment strategies and services.

Frances will apply her keen insight and over 25 years of industry experience during a session entitled, “Measuring the True Value of Return-to Work Programs.” The session will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24. During this session, the audience will examine a case study and explore methods of measuring the full value of return-to-work and learn how to calculate the direct and indirect claim costs by using benchmarks to assess program effectiveness.

Meet Our Team

As always, customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we have spent the past year developing a high-performance team dedicated to providing excellence in customer service. This year, conference attendees can meet our team and discuss how we have enhanced our process by investing and leveraging new technology that will streamline the customer experience and make it more efficient.

Attendees will also get a chance to meet our new Director of Sales, Victoria Giuliani. Victoria has brought over 25 years of retail executive management experience and client service expertise to the team.

“This has been an amazing seven months at ReEmployAbility,” Victoria said. “I feel so fortunate to be working with such a strong team. We all share the same dedication and willingness to evolve our program.”

Her commitment to providing the best customer service as well as her passion to help the injured employee and the community are traits that make her the perfect fit here at ReEmployAbility. This will be her first time experiencing all that the RIMS conference has to offer.

“I am looking forward to the conference and meeting leaders in the industry,” Victoria said. “This will be a great opportunity to have one-on-one conversations and get a better understanding of the specific needs they have regarding return to work.”

Joining Victoria will be a familiar face to one and all, Account Executive Mary Bennett. Mary has attended the conference since 2008 and said that RIMS is more than connecting and networking with clients.

“I have found that the ultimate goal of attending the conference is having the ability to educate people about our Transition2Work program and providing this amazing cost saving solution to many return-to-work issues,” Mary said.
