ReEmployAbility, the nation’s largest provider of specialty return-to-work services, today announced a new partnership with the Kind Souls Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free, confidential emotional-wellness support to individuals unable to work due to injury or illness. Through this collaboration, ReEmployAbility will sponsor Caller Care Packages for every injured worker who connects with the Kind Souls warmline—expanding the company’s commitment to whole-person recovery and human-centered support.

Deliver Compassionate Care at Every Stage of Recovery

For more than 20 years, ReEmployAbility has supported injured workers by connecting them with meaningful, community-based volunteer opportunities that help maintain routine, confidence, and a sense of purpose during recovery. The partnership with the Kind Souls Foundation builds on that support by ensuring workers also have access to compassionate emotional resources during recovery, helping them feel more connected, encouraged, and ready to move forward.

The Kind Souls warmline offers confidential, judgement-free emotional support from trained volunteers who understand the challenges of being away from work due to injury. In 2025, the organization served more than 140 individuals and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from callers who found comfort in having someone listen. This peer-led model aligns closely with ReEmployAbility’s commitment to ensuring every injured worker feels valued along their recovery journey.

A Box of Kindness for Every Caller

As part of the partnership, ReEmployAbility will sponsor the Kind Souls “Box of Kindness” care packages, which provide comfort and encouragement to every warmline caller. These packages reinforce the message that injured workers are seen, supported, and valued throughout their recovery. By complementing the warmline’s emotional-support Kind Souls provides, the initiative deepens the compassionate foundation at the heart of the Transition2Work® experience.

Together, ReEmployAbility and the Kind Souls Foundation are expanding what recovery can look like for injured workers—pairing meaningful work opportunities with accessible emotional support and a message of genuine care. This partnership reflects ReEmployAbility’s ongoing dedication to helping every injured worker feel connected, encouraged, and equipped to move forward with confidence on their path back to work.
