A Superhero Purpose
ReEmployAbility, a leading provider of specialty return-to-work and transitional employment programs, is delighted to announce its “Legend” sponsorship of the 2024 Give Kids the World (GKTW) Superhero Gala, scheduled for Saturday, August 17th, 2024, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. As a sponsor, we are committed to supporting the mission of Give Kids the World and making a positive impact on the lives of children and families.
Give Kids The World, a nonprofit resort in Central Florida, is dedicated to offering weeklong wish vacations at no charge to critically ill children and their families from across the globe. Since its inception in 1986, this 89-acre resort has welcomed over 177,000 families and depends on volunteers and donations to fulfill its mission. Give Kids the World has celebrated over 38 years of supporting children and families, ensuring no child is ever turned away.
In Partnership with WCI
The Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI), a nonprofit organization that supports workers’ compensation professionals, is hosting this year’s Give Kids The World Superhero Gala. Over the past decade, fundraising initiatives, including the Gala, have generated over $1 million for Give Kids The World Village. In 2023, under the leadership of the WCI Spirit to Serve Committee, the event generated a record-setting $218,000 for the charity.
Saturday, August 17th, also marks the Give Kids the World Service Day, a day dedicated to volunteering at the Give Kids the World Village. Last year, over 600 WCI volunteers dedicated their time, talent, and passion to completing 25 service projects at the Village, ensuring that every family enjoys a joyful and genuinely unforgettable wish experience. This service day was possible through the participation of 107 companies. Additionally, the volunteers achieved over two months of work hours in just 2.5 hours. We invite you to join this year’s incredible day of service.
Fundraising Gives Families Hope
The Superhero Gala, GKTW’s largest fundraiser, is a beacon of hope for children and families. It’s an evening filled with joy, laughter, and the promise of a brighter future. The funds raised through this event have been instrumental in making a difference in the lives of countless children and families, providing them with the much-needed joy they deserve.
“At ReEmployAbility, we believe in the transformative power of community engagement and philanthropy,” explained ReEmployAbility’s Founder & CEO, Debra Livingston. “Our sponsorship of the Give Kids The World Superhero Gala underscores our commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families. Supporting events such as the 2024 WCI “Give Back Gala” not only enriches our communities but also aligns with our core belief that we can all make a difference. We are honored to support such a worthy cause and are excited to make a positive impact together.”
