ReEmployAbility is proud to announce it was recognized for the fourth year in a row by Florida State University on their 2020 Seminole 100 List.

ReEmployAbility, along with 99 other fastest-growing businesses owned or led by FSU alumni, were honored February 22, 2020 during a ceremony at FSU’s University Center Club in Doak Campbell Stadium. ReEmployAbility ranked #83 on 2020 list.

The Seminole 100 List is presented by the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship at FSU’s College of Business, in partnership with the FSU Alumni Association. Each company is ranked based on their compounded annual growth rate during a three-year period.

ReEmployAbility, founded by FSU alumna Debra Livingston, is the largest national provider of specialty early return-to-work services and transitional employment programs. Her drive and passion for return-to-work and to help injured workers and communities across the nation has propelled ReEmployAbility forward since it was founded in 2003.

“I am delighted to be recognized in the Seminole 100 once again,” said Livingston. “It is an honor to be recognized with my fellow alumni as an example of the amazing things future FSU grads will accomplish. I accept this award with an abundance of gratitude for my leadership team who come into the office every day with passion for our mission and a commitment to continuously improve our services.”

With ReEmployAbility’s Transition2Work® program, Livingston has developed and perfected a program that not only helps employers, insurance companies, and workers but also gives back to the community. During their temporary volunteer assignment at a not-for-profit organization in their community, injured workers become reacquainted with the work experience, which helps to boost their self-confidence, improves their sense of worth, and keeps them connected with the daily work routine.

“We are proud to honor Florida State alumni who are creating and growing amazing companies around the country,” said Melissa Roberts, managing director of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, in a statement.

Roberts said this year’s honorees provided jobs for more than 5,900 people and generated almost $1.6 billion in revenue.

To qualify for the Seminole 100, companies must have been in business for at least three years with verifiable revenues. Additionally, the business must be privately held, for-profit, based in the U.S. and be owned or majority managed by an FSU alum.
