ReEmployAbility is proud to announce their sponsorship of the 32nd Annual Gift of Peace Lunch benefiting The Spring of Tampa Bay on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Armature Works in Tampa. The Spring of Tampa Bay raises awareness and provides resources to women and children who are survivors of domestic violence.

The Spring of Tampa Bay has been providing shelter to individuals and families since 1977. They also provide comprehensive services to survivors, which include but are not limited to supportive counseling, financial literacy programs, childcare and elementary schooling. Events like the Gift of Peace Lunch help raise money to provide resources to those they serve and educate the community on the issue of domestic violence.

“Our passion to give back to communities is always at the forefront of everything we do as a company,” said ReEmployAbility CEO Debra Livingston. In addition to the company’s daily work supporting injured workers and nonprofits through its Transition2Work® program, ReEmployAbility takes time to raise awareness about issues impacting the community and participates in service.

“As a woman-owned business and a company that works with nonprofits, we recognize how The Spring of Tampa Bay’s mission speaks to our values,” said Livingston. “Becoming more involved with the organization and serving as a member of the board, I’ve learned the shocking prevalence of domestic violence and the need to call attention to it. We are proud to continue supporting The Spring of Tampa Bay in their response to this issue.”

The Gift of Peace Lunch will include speakers and recognition of individuals who have impacted The Spring of Tampa Bay’s work. For more event information and sponsorship opportunities, visit https://thespring.org/event/gift-of-peace/
